Paraiso Miami Swim Week Readies for Its 21st Edition Amidst a Swimwear Showdown.

Natalija Dedic-Stojanovic states a fact: "a trusted and influential force in the fashion realm." This is evident from this year's predictions; over 30,000 people are expected at Paraiso Miami Swim Week, in addition to over 7,500 buyers expected from across the globe.

Paraiso throws emphasis on its state of fame, now that the brand is undergoing legal entanglements over the use of the name Miami Swim Week. The two have been in a protracted dispute over the 'Miami Swim Week' trademark with a rival, Miami Swim Week—The Shows, which is an event operated by DC Swim Week Group running at the same time as Paraiso Miami Swim Week.

The recent update reads that Paraiso's parent company, Funkshion Productions, in March, claimed a "big legal win" with the decision of the court to revoke the trademark for 'Miami Swim Week' owned by DCSW. Funkshion wrongly claimed DCSW's trademark was "confusing to the industry," whereas DCSW countered by suing Funkshion in Florida for trademark infringement, falsehoods, and baseless allegations asserting that "the claim on Paraiso's trademark is based on false examples of use and statements thereof."

"For Paraiso, the next edition of Paraiso Miami Swim Week means a lot, as the court's recent decision confirmed our sole right to the Miami Swim Week trademark." Dedic-Stojanovic stated, "This choice boosts our aim to guard the swimwear industry's leading stage, ensuring it stays free from trademark violation, wrong links, and fakes."
