When it comes to application, there are many different approaches to using a concealer, and it is definitely worth trying to determine one that is more suited to you. There are simply too many usages for there to even be a right or a wrong way to use it. Know your shades
The classification of concealers relies primarily upon the intended purpose of the product. According to J. "Are you looking to highlight the area around the eyes, accomplish targeted techniques, improve skin tone, or contour? In contouring, he advised using concealers that are two to three shades darker than the original shade to achieve a well-contoured look. However, if the purpose is to enhance looking a bit more bright, then concealer that is a shade lighter than the original shade would be ideal, and this would be applied on the high points of the face.
