North West Shares Insight on Family Life and Growing Up in Q&A with Kim Kardashian

North West, the daughter of rapper Kanye West (now known as Ye) and reality TV star Kim Kardashian, is showing signs that she's inherited her father's sharp personality and confidence. In a candid Q&A with her mother for Interview Magazine, North discussed her experiences growing up, revealing a personality that echoes her famous dad.

Kardashian began the conversation by sharing a personal detail about North, explaining that her daughter requires the TV to be on to fall asleep. North was quick to correct her mom, saying, "That's not a fun fact." The bold reply mirrored her father's straightforward nature.

When asked about being in the spotlight, North shared her mixed feelings about being photographed. "I like taking pictures of myself, but I don't like when paparazzi do it," she admitted. Reflecting her father's contentious relationship with the media, she added, "If I just woke up and there's paparazzi, I'm like, 'Yo, I'm going to sue you.' But if I'm ready and my outfit looks good, I'm okay with it."

North also revealed her love for art, though she finds her art class "very annoying." Surprisingly, her favorite subject is Latin. When asked by Kardashian how she likes to help others, North responded, "I like spreading the gospel, telling people about God, and how following His word can solve their problems." This response reflected the strong spiritual connection she shares with her father, who is known for his Sunday services.

A memorable moment for North was a family trip to Italy with her siblings and father. She recalled seeing "devil statues" in the house they stayed in and feeling the need to pray. "I was like, 'We have to pray.' So I taught Chi, Psalm, and Saint how to pray," she said, adding that after the prayers, "God really did His thing."

As for her future, North is already exploring her interests. "I already do a lot of the things I want to do when I grow up," she explained. "Now, I just want to keep pursuing my dreams."

Kardashian and Ye, who share four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—have been co-parenting since their 2021 split, with their divorce finalized in November 2022.
