Live at the O2: Sabrina Carpenter's Playful Take with Emma Bunton

During her Short n' Sweet tour stop at London's O2 Arena on Saturday, March 8, hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter playfully "arrested" Spice Girls icon Emma Bunton during an unforgettable performance. The "Espresso" star, 25, delighted the audience with a fun and unexpected moment as she brought the 49-year-old Bunton on stage.

In a lighthearted on-stage skit, Carpenter declared, "You're kind of spicing up my life a little bit… Oh my God, wow. Like really spicing up my life. My clothes are falling off. I'm naked, I'm naked!" while Bunton smiled and engaged with the camera, as captured in fan videos. The energy in the arena soared as Carpenter then asked Bunton if she would honor her with a symbolic commitment. Handing her a pair of pink handcuffs, Carpenter quipped, "They match your top!"

The following day, Bunton took to Instagram to share her excitement about the arrest. "Please, please, please arrest me for being a fan!!! @sabrinacarpenter you were amazing!" she posted, accompanied by a montage of clips featuring moments from the evening, with Carpenter's track "Good Graces" setting the tone.

In one of the video segments, Bunton is seen feigning surprise as she's selected for the playful arrest, before enjoying highlights of Carpenter's performance on screen. The clip wraps up with Bunton flashing a peace sign and showing off her new pink fuzzy handcuffs, a fun memento from the night.

This latest arrest is not the first of its kind from Carpenter. In previous tour stops, she staged similar playful takeovers: in Atlanta, she "arrested" Millie Bobby Brown after a cheeky DM exchange; later, she playfully nabbed Jack Antonoff before swapping him with his wife, Margaret Qualley; and in Los Angeles, she brought Marcello Hernández's beloved character Domingo into custody.

Since last year, during her tour in support of her 2024 album Short n' Sweet, Carpenter has made it a recurring on-stage ritual to "arrest" a guest before launching into her hit track "Juno." This creative and humorous approach has become a signature moment of her live shows, adding an extra layer of excitement and engagement for her audience.
